What Is Porting?

Wireless porting, or Wireless LNP (Local Number Portability) allows you to move away from your landline service provider while keeping your existing phone number.

Porting is unlike ‘call forwarding’, in which the number remains assigned to that account, and calls are directed to another recipient.

The benefits of porting:

Call diverting
Caller ID (on/off)
Route your number to other VoIP-enabled devices

If you have an existing VoIP device, you can also transfer the number to a different Line on your VoIP account.

*Note: Activating call forwarding will incur a cost.
