Cancelling your Webafrica Service: What you Need to Know about clawback fees and routers

Webafrica operates on a one-month cancellation policy for all of our internet access and VoIP services.

This means that you can cancel your service and you will never need to give more than one calendar month's notice for this cancellation.

Please note that any and all outstanding fees must be paid on cancellation.

Fibre Installation and Connection Fees:

Installation and/or Connection fees (to the value of the original fees subsidised by Webafrica).
If your service has been active for fewer than 12 months and you choose to cancel, we will reclaim the installation and/or connection fees which we originally subsidised.

Fibre Routers:

Free-to-Use Routers are exactly that - free to use for as long as you are with Webafrica and using the relevant service. As soon as you cancel your service you will be billed for your router.

If you choose to return your router to us we will credit you with the above amount as soon as the router arrives at our offices.

Please note that routers will be refunded only if they are returned in good condition, in their original packaging.

All costs involved in returning the router are the customer's responsibility.

LTE Routers:

Free-to-Use Routers are exactly that - free to use for as long as you are with Webafrica and using the relevant service. As soon as you cancel your service you will be billed for your router.

This fee will be automatically added to your account. Should you choose to return your router, we will credit you with the above amount as soon as the router arrives at our offices. Please note that routers will be refunded only if they are returned in good condition, and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for all costs involved in returning the router.

SIM Only Credit:
If you did not take a Free-to-Use Router from us and we subsequently credited your account, this credit will now be reclaimed, if your account has been active for fewer than 12 months.
